For our college football system of the week, we investigated situations regarding rest. Typically, teams have a Saturday game, six days off, and another Saturday game. In some cases, however, a team will have more or even less than six days rest between games. Teams playing mid-week instead of Saturday gives the team additional days off between games.
Last week’s System of the Week qualified a play on the Michigan State Spartans in their game against the Wisconsin Badgers. The system of the week won again as the Spartans QB Kirk Cousins connected with Keith Nichol on a 44-yard Hail Marry pass to win the game with no time left on the clock 37 to 31. The systems record improves to 12-0 ATS since 1993.
Last week’s System of the Week qualified a play on the Michigan State Spartans in their game against the Michigan Wolverines and our system won again as the Spartans defeated the Wolverines 28 to 14 as a 1-point favorite. The 2009 NFL Pre-Season is right around the corner with the Hall of Fame Game in Canton Ohio scheduled for Sunday August 9th on NBC at 8:00PM Eastern Time. This game will feature the Buffalo Bills and the Tennessee Titans. That game will be followed on Thursday night with four games with the balance of the week’s games played on Friday, Saturday and a double-header on Monday night.
